I am in the U.S. trying repair a 1959 16/250
The shocks I have are 27.2 cm front and 29.5 cm rear in length.
What are the correct length eye to eye.

The rear at your picture is something else – not original. the frame I have has been previously modified.
The rear shock mounting on the swing arm has been cut off and the spring mounts have been converted to take a motorcycle style shock.

But I can put this back the way it was originally. For the rear there two springs and one shock?

If you put back modified rear swing arm to originality (IMO the best way), there are two springs and only one shock.
BTW, the front combined springs/shocks are of motorcycle Jawa origin.
